That moment
When you realize that just because you are away doesn’t mean that the world back home stops.
Rest in Peace my dear uncle, Chava who always encouraged my crazy adventures and always waited eagerly to hear my stories. Who always shared with me his wonderful stories and only made me eager to experience amazing things like he did. A man who put so much pride in his work and family and was a great patriarch of his family. I will miss you always and hold you in my heart and everything I see here I will share with you.
Rest in Peace my dear friend Ricky who was taken too early and my summers will never be the same without you. Our running out of the doors from convergys as soon as we could clock out. Our 12 AM pool parties at Anthony’s house and 3 AM walks to the park for ultimate Frisbee Ending every night eating breakfast at the gas station. It was the best 5 weeks of my life. Sleep was nonexistent and we felt eternally young. Thank you for always reminding me to see the good in people and putting only positive thoughts in my head when the day seemed rough. I don’t know what I am to do without you when I get back but you’ll always be in my heart and i am sure in the hearts of others. You were an amazing friend.
I also want to thank my brother who reminds me to not regret me following my dreams and encourages me to move forward and grow with the words of these two great people who I’ve lost but will always remain in my heart and mind.
I love you both dearly and was blessed to be in your presence and learn from you.
See you again one day.
